Whenever there is a picture or discussion about world's first camera every body asks a question that if this is the world's first camera than who took a picture of world's first camera. Here i will suggest few answers which might be helpful for all of you.
Above in picture, the camera which you guys can see is said to be the first ever camera in the universe, while looking at this picture everyone asks that famous question "who took picture of this camera". Well this camera was invented by George R. Lawrence. He was also commissioned by Chicago and Alton railway in order to have the largest picture of trains. This photo was measured in dimensions of 8 ft by 4.5 ft and camera had a weight of 900 pounds, total 15 to 16 men were necessary for this camera in order to move camera from one place and another as well as to operate. As far as the amount is concerned, this camera costed $5000.
Now coming to the Universal question regarding world first camera. In my opinion:
Well i hope you guys can now imagine that what were the possibilities of taking photo of world's first camera. If i wanted to take a photo of first camera i would have used mirrors to take photo to show the world that i have made world's first camera, instead of waiting for another camera to be invented.

- This might be the word's largest camera but not first.
- If this camera is the world first camera then this picture must have been taken after the invention of second, third or may be fourth camera. Because history says that world's first camera was remained there till many inventions and revolutions of camera. so its not a big deal, this picture might have been taken by second camera.
- May be the same camera took picture by itself using mirrors, camera could have been placed in front of a mirror tilted to the bottom corner on right, then there is another mirror facing towards the camera.
Well i hope you guys can now imagine that what were the possibilities of taking photo of world's first camera. If i wanted to take a photo of first camera i would have used mirrors to take photo to show the world that i have made world's first camera, instead of waiting for another camera to be invented.
